PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Providence police are looking for a 19-year-old city man they believe is responsible for a fatal drive-by shooting in May.
Chaquiro Blandino was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on a murder charge in the death of Francis Rodriguez.
The 22-year-old Rodriguez was driving in the city's Elmwood section on May 2 when he was hit by gunfire from another car.
The Providence Journal reports it was the second time Rodriguez had been shot this year.
Police have released a mugshot of Blandino and are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Blandino also faces two counts of using a firearm in a violent crime, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, possession of a firearm without a license, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
