The Bruins and Blackhawks are getting ready for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight in Boston. The best of seven series is tied up at a game apiece.

Did you hear that during Game 1 in Chicago, a Blackhawks fan got hit in the face with a puck? Poor Patricia Higgins!  Her face is all banged up. After that not so nice surprise, she got a few really good surprises. First off, Blackhawks legend Stan Mikita dropped by Patricia's  home, autographed a No. 21 sweater and visited for awhile. He wrote this message on the clothing: “Thanks for taking one for the team.”

And the guy who found the puck in the stands wants to meet with Patricia and give it to her!

Higgins had surgery on Thursday afternoon and is expected to make a full recovery. She made tentative plans to go Game 7 (assuming the Stanley Cup Final goes the distance), though Higgins said she might be well enough to attend Game 5. She said “I’ll probably be wearing a big helmet.” Probably a good idea!
