What do you do with all the mountains of snow still hanging around? Build a giant snowman of course! That’s what Minnesota farmer Greg Novak did. He built a 50 foot snowman using skid loaders to pile snow and a silage blower to direct snow into stacked cylinders. He calls it the “Granddaddy” of snowmen, and says it’s “putting a smile on people’s faces” during this harsh Winter. Novak said "The eyes are plywood -- 4 feet wide by 6 feet high. The nose is a 55-gallon barrel, the smile is like, 10 feet wide. The scarf is about 80 feet long, the broom is about 35 feet high, the buttons are garbage can covers."
