A man in Florida was arrested for drug possession…his name?...Edward Cocaine! The judge couldn’t believe his ears, and the people in the courtroom were cracking up. Mr. Cocaine is 34-years-old, and he appeared in a Broward County courthouse on Wednesday, after he was busted with Xanax. County Judge John Hurley spoke to Cocaine via video, and joked with him about his name. He said, “You know, I thought I’d seen it all,” “How many times have the police told you to step out of the car during your life?” Cocaine said, “Just about every time I get pulled over.” The suspect told the judge that his grandparents were from Greece and changed their name to Cocaine back in the 1920s. The judge went easy on him and released Cocaine on his own recognizance.
