Fans requested it, and musicians listened. The charity anthem "We Are the World" has been remade for the Coronavirus generation. A group of 70 musicians on Long Island have rebooted the song to give people hope during these tough times. It's called "We Are The World 2020 - the Quarantine Mix," and all of the recordings were done remotely from each artist's home.
A note along with the video reads, “Although we can’t be together, Long Island musicians united to create something special. We hope this heals your hearts just a little bit with the power of a song that takes on new meaning today.”
