Massachusetts’ New COVID-19 Compliance Hotline Flooded With Prank Calls!

Last week Massachusetts launched a hotline and a website encouraging members of the public to report any non-compliance with Covid-19 guidelines that they see at businesses and workplaces. Well, the public has responded, and has inundated the site and phone number with prank calls and porn!

Dozens of callers left messages complaining about the rules imposed by Governor Charlie Baker. There were several fake complaints lodged, reports of "unmasked dogs," even a picture of someone's...ahem...manhood.

Officials, however, say most of the almost 1000 complaints were legit. I wonder if Rhode Island's new "snitch" hotline is getting similar calls?
