William Shatner has the blues, and he isn't afraid to sing about it. The “Star Trek” star is set to release the new album, “The Blues,” on October 2nd.
The album features guest appearances by such artists as Brad Paisley, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter,” Steve Cropper, Pete Travers and Deep Purple’sRitchie Blackmore. In fact, he just released his Blackmore collaboration, on the classic “The Thrill Is Gone.”
This is far from Shatner’s first album. His first album, “The Transformed Man,” was released in 1968, and he’s released several since. His last, the country album "Why Not Me," was released in 2018.
