Neal Schon is coming out with a new solo album. The Journey guitarist has announced a new album “Universe.”
The record has been in the works for years, Neal describing it as a “beautifully orchestrated” work back in 2017. The album was produced by Narada Michael Walden, who stepped in as Journey’s new drummer for the band’s recent lineup change.
Neal has taken to Twitter to share the artwork for the album due for release sometime this month. He’s also revealed there are some covers on the record, hinting at tunes by Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles.
