Paul McCartney’s daughter Mary McCartney is set to direct a new documentary about the famous Abbey Road Studios, where The Beatles recorded 190 of their 210 songs.
“If These Walls Could Sing” will coincide with the studios’ 90thanniversary celebrations in November. It is the first time it’s been the subject of a feature documentary, with the film being described as “the untold story of the studio.” Music fans can expect to get an intimate look at the studios, with the doc featuring all-star cast interviews.
“Some of my earliest memories as a young child come from time spent at Abbey Road,” Mary, whose mom is Linda McCartney, says. “I’ve long wanted to tell the story of this historic place."
