Mardi Gras is today, but it looks different this year in New Orleans. All of the parades have been cancelled because of the pandemic, so instead, lots of people are decorating their houses!
They're calling it "Yardi Gras!" Folks are filling their front lawns with signs and decorations. One looks like Little Shop of Horrors with Audrey II the Killer Plant at the front door. One house has tenticles sticking out all over it, and another features a massive, bead-wearing dinosaur!
The idea became so popular, today there are over 3000 decorated houses all over the city!
