Mick Jagger dropped a new pandemic-inspired song, “Eazy Sleazy,” yesterday featuring Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism,” Mick shared. “thank you to Dave Grohl@foofightersfor jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this - hope you all enjoy Eazy Sleazy !”
The song has Mick jamming through everyone’s 2020 experiences, including the “prison” of being stuck indoors, TikTok dances, Zoom calls and more. He even takes a shot at anti-Vaxxers, singing, "Shooting the vaccine/ Bill Gates is in my bloodstream/ It's mind control."
- As for Dave, he was certainly thrilled to perform with Mick. “It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir@mickjaggermeans to me,” he shared, “It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier......and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!!”
