Queen guitarist Brian May has plenty of respect for Eric Clapton, but they don’t always see eye to eye. In a new interview, Brain calls out Eric’s anti-vaxx stance.
After it was announced that the United Kingdom would require “vaccine passports” for certain events, Eric said he wouldn’t play any stage that “discriminated” against its audience over their vaccination status. Brian has reacted to Eric’s stance, calling anti-vaxxers “fruitcakes.”
“I love Eric Clapton, he’s my hero, but he has very different views from me in many ways,” Brain adds. “To go around saying vaccines are a plot to kill you, I’m sorry, that goes in the fruitcake jar for me.”
