New Music from Billy Idol!

Billy Idol is back with his first new music in seven years. He’s announced a new EP, “The Roadside.” The EP drops on September 17th via Dark Horse Records, the label founded by late Beatles legend George Harrison and currently run by his son Dhani Harrison.

We’re getting a preview with a new single, “Bitter Taste,” featuring Billy’s longtime co-writer and lead guitarist Steve Stevens. In a statement, Billy says he’s been feeling “more reflective” during the pandemic, so he decided to write a song about his 1990 motorcycle accident.

“The motorcycle accident was the catharsis, the wake-up moment,” he adds. “Maybe on that roadside I left behind the irreverent youthful Billy and opened the door for a more attentive father and a more sensitive musician.”Check out the single below. Source:Consequence of Sound
