The Beatles rooftop concert is coming to IMAX Theaters on January 30. We now have word that the rooftop concert has been released for global streaming on Thursday night, January 27, at midnight EST. "The Beatles: Get Back - The Rooftop Performance" dropped on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming platforms.
This streaming debut is part of the larger-roll out of special Beatles releases, like the IMAX theater showing. This is all in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of this rooftop concert, which happened on January 30, 1969. The band performed songs from their final album, "Let It Be." Police had to cut the concert short after a massive crowd gathered to watch it from the streets. This was The Beatles' final live performance together.
