Aerosmith is celebrating their 50th anniversary, and they are kicking things off with the CD and Digital debut of one of their earliest recordings.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are set to drop “Aerosmith – 1971: The Road Starts Hear” on April 8th, a rare rehearsal recording that was originally only available as a limited-edition cassette and vinyl release for Record Store Day in 2021.
The release includes an early version of their classic “Dream On,” which appeared on their 1973 self-titled major label debut, along with tracks like "Somebody," "Movin' Out," "Walkin' The Dog," and "Mama Kin.”
The release also features unseen archived photos, and liner notes from “Rolling Stone's” David Fricke along with new interviews and comments from the band about the recording.
