New Netfix Movie is Based on RI State Police Dog. Here is a Preview!

The new Netflix movie "Rescued by Ruby" is based on the true life story of RI State Police K9 dog Ruby, who was adopted from a shelter and trained by Trooper Dan O'Neil. Ruby was a rambunctious border collie mix, who was adopted and returned five times. Hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized because she was deemed "unadoptable," she found her calling as a Rhode Island State Police K9 Patrol member.

Although the movie was shot in Vancouver during the COVID-19 pandemic, it still manages to capture the true essence of the story about these real life heroes. The film debuts on Thursday 3/17 on Netflix. Check out the trailer below.
