Disney + and Hulu to Raise Prices in December

Just when I saved a little money by cancelling my cable, now Disney Plus is going to be hiking its prices!

They've been talking about this for a while, and the streaming service announced this week that they're finally adding that commercial based version of the service. It's called Disney Plus Basic and this new plan with ads launches December 8th for $7.99 a month.

The original, ad free version of the service now goes to $10.99 a month, which is a big jump from when it first was launched. I want to say it was $6.99 when I first signed up for Disney Plus.

Disney is also going to jack up the price of Hulu with ads from $6.99 to $7.99 a month and the company’s ad free version of Hulu will now set you back $14.99 a month! Yikes!

ESPN’s streamer will also get a $3 increase from $6.99 to $9.99 monthly.

Pretty soon if you have all these different streaming services it’ll be up close to the cost of your old cable bill!
