AMC Releasing 'Grease' in Theaters This Weekend to Honor Olivia Newton John

Earlier this month we lost Olivia Newton-John to breast cancer. In her honor, AMC is bringing back one of her most popular movies to the big screen. They’re releasing "Grease" in 135 theaters this weekend in her honor.

Tickets will only cost five-dollars each and a portion of the proceeds goes to a great cause. One dollar of every ticket sold will be allocated to AMC's charitable fund AMC Cares which will then donate the money raised to breast cancer research.

'Grease' first hit theaters in 1978 and became an instant summer blockbuster. The movie earned an Oscar nomination for the song “Hopelessly Devoted to You”and gave us several other hit songs including “You’re the One That I Want,” “Summer Nights” and of course the title song "Grease."
