Sammy Hagar tells Rolling Stone that the Van Halen reunion tour that never happened “would’ve righted everything.” Hagar’s referring to the tour that was rumored to feature Eddie and Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony, David Lee Roth, himself, and possibly Gary Cherone.
“If we would’ve done that…all the damage that I did with my book, the damage Ed did with his actions and his stuff he did in public, and the Cherone shenanigans, and the Roth reunions, my reunion…that would’ve righted everything if we would have did that tour.” Hagar went on to say that the only way a reunion could happen after the death of Eddie was if Wolfgang Van Halen agreed to fill his father’s shoes.
