Eddie Vedder Joins Stevie Nicks For “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around”

The Eddie Vedder curated Ohana Festival went down in Dana Point, California this weekend, and Eddie couldn’t help but pop up on stage throughout the weekend.

While Eddie and his band The Earthlings headlined Saturday night, he decided to pop in and join Stevie Nicks for her set Friday night. A dancing Eddie came out to sing the Tom Petty part of Stevie’s classic “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” Check out footage below.

Earlier in the day, Eddie turned up for a guest spot with the day's opener The Alive, performing Pearl Jam’s “Mind Your Manners” with them. If you remember, back in May, The Alive’s drummer Kai Neukermans sat in for Matt Cameron during a Pear Jam show when Matt was out with COVID.

ONE MORE THING!  Sunday marked the fifth anniversary of Tom Petty’s death and Eddie seemed to pay tribute to that during his Ohana set, performing two Petty songs, “Room at the Top” and “The Waiting,” both with Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell. The set also had Eddie performing the Temple of the Dog song “Hunger Strike,” with his guitarist Andrew Watt
