Jason Momoa May Be Quitting 'Aquaman' Because the New Movie is "Terrible"

Rumor is Jason Momoa might be jumping ship from the “Aquaman” franchise because the latest movie is a bomb! “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is the next installment in the “Aquaman” saga and reportedly it has not gone over well with test audiences. Word is some called it the worst DCU movie ever, while others actually walked out!

According to TheDirect.com who spoke with insider Jeff Sneider, Momoa will be switching from a hero to a villain within the DC Universe. Sneider said “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”  is "terrible" and "Momoa is gonna be Lobo going forward." He’s referring to the mercenary and bounty hunter Lobo who will go up against Superman.  

For the past few months Jason has been teasing a new project with Warner Brothers and DC and how he’s very excited about it. So many fans are convinced that he will be switching characters.  

Bad film or not, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2023.
