The Eagles played what is just about certain to be their next to last New England concert on Monday night (9/11/23). Their "Long Goodbye" tour has featured all of their "Greatest Hits," as defined by the album of that name. With Deacon Frey, the son of late Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey joining Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh, the band has been getting good reviews for the show at TD Garden. Country legend Vince Gill is also touring with the band as guitarist and vocalist. The band plays there again on Wednesday (9/13/23).
The set included Henley's "Boys of Summer" and three Joe Walsh hits (actually four if you include "In the City" which was a Walsh song first and then was rerecorded by the full Eagles band). If you didn't shell out a king's ransom for tickets, here's what you missed...
