Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible 8' Delayed By a Year

Tom Cruise can’t be happy about this. The next installment in his "Mission Impossible" spy franchise is being delayed by a year.

Mission Impossible 8 was supposed to hit theaters in June of next year, but according to Paramount Pictures fans won’t get to see the film until May 2025.

Production ground to a halt thanks to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Negotiations resume today between the actors and the Hollywood studios. Hopefully they can work things out soon or we’re going to see lots more big-budget films face significant delays as well.
