Let's face it, the village of Pascoag in Burrillville isn't pronounced the way it's spelled so it's not unusual for someone to misspell it, or even mispronounce it. (For the record, it's pronounced "Pasco.") However, you'd think that someone could double check a highway sign before it goes up.
A new sign on Rt. 102 spells the name as "Pascsoag." The RI DOT says that the mistake was made by a vendor and it will be replaced soon. Check out the story from NBC 10.
