State Troopers Run For Kids With Cancer

Rhode Island State Police are trying to raise a few more dollars for their Boston Marathon run this year.

Detective Chris D'Angelo and Trooper Jacquelyn Applin are preparing for this year's race which is set for Patriots Day in Massachusetts, April18th.

They are raising some eight thought dollars for the chairity Cops For Kids With Cancer.

Their goal is to raise monies to help Rhode Island families with the financial difficulties that come with having a child battling cancer.
