Providence DPW Worker Accused Of Stealing Parking Meter Coins

Providence have charged with stealing coins from parking meters throughout the city.

Police say they witnessed Kristopher Stetson, a 45 year old employee of the Department of Public Works allegedly steal the coins from parking meters.

Officials say 453 dollars and 16 cents was stolen from the meters between November 1 and the 8.

Court officials say Stetson is being charged with three counts of embezzlement and larceny.

He has already been arraigned and is free on $25 hundred dollar surety bond.
