In anticipation of the Freddie Mercury biopic, the first trailer for “Bohemian Rhapsody” has been unveiled. The film, starring Rami Malek as Mercury sets around a 15-year period from the band’s formation until their performance at Live Aid in 1985.
Ben Hardy is set to play drummer Roger Taylor, Joseph Mazzello has been cast as bassist John Deacon and famed guitarist Brian May will be portrayed by Gwilym Lee. Mike Myers is also set to make an appearance in the movie. Sacha Baron Cohen had originally been in talks to play Mercury, but after clashing with members of the original band he distanced himself from the project. May and Taylor settled on Malek who’s known for his role in “Mr. Robot.”
