We previously reported that Paul McCartney was set to livestream a secret concert in New York City celebrating the release of his new album “Egypt Station.” After dropping a few hints on the “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, the musician was met by a massive crowd of fans for his surprise performance at Grand Central Station.
About 300 fans were reportedly lucky enough to score tickets to the secret invite-only show, but hundreds more crowded into the station’s main hall to catch the music legend’s performance. It certainly shocked some commuters waiting for their trains out of the city as McCartney made his grand entrance, which you can see a fan-shot video of below. (Video courtesy of YouTube)
As promised, McCartney treated the crowd to some of his solo hits, along with some Beatles classics. Live video from the performance has been posted on his YouTube channel after being live-streamed that night.
