New Steve Perry Video...eh...Not Loving it

Former Journey frontman Steve Perry just released what he’s calling his “first official music video” as a solo artist in almost 25 years, since 1994’s “Missing You.” The singer just dropped a visual for “We’re Still Here” from his latest album “Traces.”

In the clip, Perry drives around in a 70s Chevelle SS. Frankly the car is the best part of the video. He passes by iconic locations in Los Angeles, California, the city that inspired the song. Personally I'm not a fan of this album and still wonder what would have happened if he didn't leave Journey so early. Considering neither act has had a true hit since Perry left the band, we may have gotten a few more Journey-quality tunes had they stuck it out a bit longer. Listen back to the greatest hits from the band during the Steve Perry era, and you have to agree that none of his solo stuff comes close.

The video promotes the new deluxe edition of the album, which offers five bonus tracks. Check out the video below.
