The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel their upcoming North American tour so Mick Jagger could have heart surgery. Well, one of those shows was the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and now their replacement has been found.
The festival just announced that Fleetwood Mac will be subbing for the Stones, who were scheduled to headline the festival on May 2nd. The Stones were supposed to be the only act performing after 5 pm on that date, but now May 2ndwill feature a full day’s lineup, which will also include Tom Jones, Ziggy Marley, Mavis Staples and more.
Anyone who purchased tickets for the Stones day will be able to get full refunds, while tickets to see Fleetwood Mac are now on sale for $75 (much cheaper than the Stones).
