Woodstock at 50 Flashback: Santana's "Evil Ways" (while on hallucinogenics)

This week is the 50th anniversary of the iconic Woodstock Music Festival, held in Bethel, NY, August 15-17 in 1969. One of the most famous performances was by Santana. There is a story that I think makes this video even more fascinating: Carlos Santana says his band was scheduled to go on at night, so in the early afternoon he took some psychedelic drugs so that he could enjoy some other bands' performances while high and then come down a bit when it was time to go on stage. However... right after he took the drugs, concert managers came to him and said "You have to go on in ten minutes, or you can't go on at all." YIKES. A very high and hallucinating Santana took the stage and instructed his fellow players to make sure he stays in the right key. The rest is history. A classic Woodstock moment!
