Genesis fans are going to have to wait even longer for their reunion tour. After being postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus, the tour was supposed to kick off in April, but it has now been pushed to September and October.
“The Last Domino Tour,” featuring Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford, will now kick off September 15thand 16thin Dublin, Ireland and wrap with three nights at London’s O2 Arena, October 11th, 12thand 13th.
“The decision to move the tour again is due to the global pandemic, and even with the roll out of the vaccine, there are still a huge amount of uncertainties and unanswered questions that make a tour in April difficult for everyone,”the band shared. “It is appreciated, that for whatever reason, those planning on attending the shows may not feel comfortable doing so, so by moving the tour we can alleviate some of those concerns,” adding, “in turn that will allow the band and the crew to prepare with less unpredictability and create a show that both the band and fans alike will treasure and enjoy.”
