British rescuers have located a missing 83-year-old woman -- by following her cat's "meow."
The woman, whose name hasn't been released, went missing in Cornwall, England over the weekend, authorities say. After searchers failed to find any trace of her, a resident heard a cat meow and found the missing woman's cat, Piran, standing at the top of a 70-foot ravine, police say. Sure enough, lying in a stream at the bottom of the ravine was the missing woman.
One eyewitness tells the BBC, "It's a massive 'well done' to all the emergency services who worked together and to Piran. The outcome could have been a lot worse."
