A movie about The Who's late drummer Keith Moon got the green light! Plans are in place to start shooting in Britain this summer. It's tentatively titled "The Real Me," which you may recognize as one of the titles of a track from the band's "Quadrophenia" album.
Bandmates Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend are both executive producers, Paul Whittington of "The Crown" fame will be director, and screenwriter Jeff Pope of "Philomena" are all on board. Casting has already bene happening for a few months now. The shooting is set to start in June.
