The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday night was a star-studded event as Dolly Parton, Eminem, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Duran Duran, the Eurythmics, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon were all inducted. The five-and-a-half-hour show in Los Angeles was packed with incredible performances, including Dolly performing a new song from her upcoming rock album with Zac Brown on guitar and backing vocals. Eminem followed Dr. Dre’s induction speech with one hit after another, including “Dream On” with Steven Tyler, followed by Ed Sheeran helping out on “Stan.”
Lionel Richie gave everyone a surprise when Dave Grohl appeared onstage to help out with “Easy” on lead guitar, Benatar & Giraldo gave the crowd performances of “Love Is A Battlefield” and “Heartbreaker,” Judas Priest had the only pyro of the night, and Annie Lennox got a thunderous standing ovation when she stood up to give her acceptance speech.
