Billboard has released their year-end charts, and the “Top Rock Artists” chart features several classic artists. Fleetwood Mac lands at number seven, with The Beatles, Elton John, and Queen rounding out the top ten. Also in the Top 25 are Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elvis, Journey, and Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers.
The Top Rock Artist chart is compiled by Billboard using several things, including airplay, sales and streaming data, touring revenue, and social media activity. Classics dominated the “Top Rock Albums” chart for 2022 as well, with Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” landing at number one.
