How warm has 2023 been so far? According to this graphic from StormTeam10, we have been nailing temperature benchmarks earlier than normal, with temps of 70 and 80 degrees and above observed weeks ahead of average.
Even if we don't hit 90 degrees on Friday, I'm betting we hit it before the average date of June 4th. As of 12pm on Friday (4/14), the official temperature in Providence hit 86 degrees, beating the previous record for this date of 83, set in 1945.
Cooler temps move in Friday night, with a weekend in the '60s and a few showers late Saturday and on Sunday.
