Fleetwood Mac is taking us back in time. The year is 1977, and their album “Rumours” is the #1 album in the country. And now we’re getting the chance to hear a live performance of that entire hit album all over again.
The band has announced “Rumours Live” will debut September 8th. The LP is a recording of the band’s concert at the Forum on August 29th, 1977. And with the exception of “Gold Dust Woman,” none of the songs on the new album have ever been released. Check out that live version of "Gold Dust Woman" below.
"The songs are familiar: 'Dreams,' 'Go Your Own Way,' 'Say You Love Me,' 'Over My Head,' and on and on," wrote Sam Graham on the liner notes. "But most of these live versions are more muscular, more ferocious, than the album recordings.” “Rumours Live” will be available on CD and vinyl.
