If you think the weekends have been rainy lately...Odds are, it's even worse than you thought. As our friend StormTeam 10 Meteorologist Jason Doris shows us in the graphic above, weekends have been especially bad lately. Twelve out of the past 18 weekends have seen rainfall since June, with 9+ inches of rain falling on weekends during that period.
And rain is in the forecast for this Saturday (10/07), which will make it five rainy weekends in a row. The percentage of rainy weekends June-October climbs to a whopping 68%! Yuck!
I was thinking that fall would reverse the trend that, but no such luck so far. Countless fall events have been canceled over the past few weekends, so this is really putting a damper on those classic New England fall weekends. Fingers crossed that things improve soon!
