Rhode Island's first blast of winter weather starts Saturday night after 7pm as snow, with rain mixing in through Sunday morning. The northwest corner of the state will see the highest snow totals, with the Rhode Island and Massachusetts coastline possibly receiving only rain. Temperature fall on Sunday afternoon, causing the potential for ice. Gusty winds on Sunday may result in downed trees and power outages.
