SPONGEBOB FANS EXCITED FOR MAROON 5'S SUPER BOWL PERFORMANCE!

Over 1.2 million Spongebob Squarepants fans have signed a Change.org petition asking Adam Levine and Maroon 5 to perform the song “Sweet Victory” during their halftime gig at the Super Bowl this Sunday. Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob passed away back in November, and fans think it would be a great tribute. The song was featured in the episode “Band Geeks,” and was performed by Spongebob, Squidward, Patrick and the gang at the “Bubble Bowl.” Earlier this week Maroon 5 released a teaser video showing them rehearsing and getting ready for the big show, and at one point SpongeBob’s face flashes across the screen. So obviously fans are hoping that they'll include the song in their set!
