Start planning that trip to California…a section of the new Star Wars land at Disneyland will be opening up in May! Disney CEO Bob Iger said yesterday that they’ve moved up the opening date for their new attraction Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The Disneyland version will start welcoming guests on May 31st. Meanwhile, in Florida, Disney World will open their Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction on August 29th. While there, fans will be fully immersed in the Star Wars universe. You’ll visit the fictional planet of Batuu and enjoy some cosmic food and beverages from a galaxy far, far away.And be sure to take the Millennium Falcon for a spin on the new ride Smuggler’s Run. You do need to make a reservation to access that portion of the park, but it's no extra charge to do that.
