New Movie Release Dates!

This Summer just will not be the same without new movie releases, but a few blockbuster films are set to premiere next month. Not sure when indoor movie theaters are reopening here in Rhode Island, but there are a few Drive-Ins still around including the Rustic in North Smithfield. Also, some Showcase Cinemas are putting up big screens in the parking lot (including the one at Gillette Stadium) and creating their own Drive-Ins.

Disney’s live action remake of “Mulan” is finally set to make it's debut on July 24th. And Christopher Nolan’s thriller "Tenet" starring Robert Pattinson and John David Washington was supposed to come out on July 17th, but it's been pushed back a few weeks to July 31st. Instead on the 17th, we can expect a 10th anniversary re-release of Nolan’s blockbuster film “Inception.”

The release date for "Wonder Woman 1984" sequel to the 2017 superhero mega-hit, has been changed several times. Originally set for release on Nov. 1, 2019. Then it was pushed back to June 5, 2020

The new James Bond movie (and final in the series to feature Daniel Craig as 007) “No Time To Die” will be out a week earlier than expected, on November 20th which will go head to head with the new Pixar movie “Soul.”

“Matrix 4” starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss was supposed to be in theaters next May, but we'll have to wait even longer for it...almost a whole year. It's new release date is April 1st, 2022!
