With Broadway closed until at least next year, and the show Hamilton now on Disney+, there's been an uptick in demand for other musicals and plays. Theater streaming websites including www.filmedonstage.com have seen web-traffic increase recently as folks are hoping to see other Broadway shows on demand. Filmed on Stage offers several filmed Broadway musicals and plays including Newsies, The Phantom of the Opera, Kinky Boots, Miss Saigon, even the Spongebob Squarepants musical. A spokesperson for the site said they've seen an increase of almost 250 percent in traffic in the 2 weeks leading up to the July 3rd Disney+ premiere of Hamilton. And last Friday, the site had a peak of almost 400%!
