Pumpkin spice season is back! Many people love the flavor and can't wait for it's arrival every Autumn. Now a Rhode Island favorite, Del's Lemonade has jumped on the pumpkin spice bandwagon. Barry Volson, manager of research and development for Del's said their food scientists created a flavor that "is not too strong, not too overpowering, but just the right combination.”
They used pumpkin and sweet potato purée in the new mix, along with cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
The Cowesett Ave location is carrying the new flavor, and they say it tastes just like a homemade pumpkin pie. Okay, if that's true I'll give it a try. What do you think? Would you try it?
