Rare Corpse Flower Blooms in California!

Oh sure you should take time to smell the flowers, just maybe not this one. A Corpse Flower is about to bloom at a California gas station, and hundreds of people have lined up to see it. I mean it is pretty rare, but super stinky. I don't know if I'm up for seeing it in person, but I would check out some pictures or a video.

Gardener Solomon Leyva brought the plant, officially known as amorphophallus titanium, to an Art Deco gas station to show it off. Getting one of these flowers to bloom is not an easy task. Leyva said it can take several years for one to bloom, and reportedly they only live for a few days. The plant is known for it's horrible stench, thus the name Corpse Flower. Guess this is a case where those masks come in handy!
