AMC is reporting a record turnout from this past weekends movie attendance. The largest global theatre chain announced Monday that around 3.9 million movie goers around the world were in attendance this past weekend , setting a new post - reopening record high ! The chain also set new post - reopening records for ticket admission revenues and food and beverage sales! AMC says the business was driven by the opening of the Tom Hardy film "Venom: Let There Be Carnage", in the U.S. , and the latest James Bond movie , "No Time To Die" overseas. Can you imagine how much the attendance will jump when that movie hits the U.S this week? Wow!! The new Venom film raked in a reported 90 million dollars domestically during its opening weekend at the box office , making it the second-biggest ever domestic opening of an October movie in cinema history!
