Cincinnati Schools to Give Teachers and Students Day Off After Super Bowl!

They’re all excited in Cincinnati, and rightly so, because the Bengals are going to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989! The city officials understand that many kids and adults will be staying up late to watch the game on Sunday, February 13th, so they’re giving students and teachers the following day off from school!

This is a question we New England Patriots fans have asked many times. Our team went to the big game several times, and we had to go to work and school bleary eyed and sleepy after staying up late.

So good for the Cincinnati Public Schools for amending their school calendar and making Monday, February 14th, the day after the Super Bowl, a day off. Now the students and teachers can stay up late and cheer on their team without worrying about having to get up for school and work. Hopefully, for Bengals fans, they can celebrate a big win that night after staying up late. Their team made it to the Super Bowl twice, in in 1982 and 1989, losing both games.
