There’s a new movie theater at the Warwick Mall where the old Showcase Cinema used to be and it opens today! Today is opening day for the new movie “The Batman” with Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell, and there are still some tickets available at the new Apple Cinemas location.
The new theater is a little fancier than the previous one featuring reclining seats with swivel tray tables. The state-of-the-art ACX theater features the new large screen format, equipped with premium large format 4k laser projectors and Dolby Atmos sound. It’s the first of its kind here in Rhode Island.
You can reserve your tickets online, or self-serve at the theater, and choose your assigned seats. Plus, Apple Cinemas also has a full-service bar! The manager says they plan on adding a kitchen and full in-seat dining this Summer, so that means they’ll bring your food to you in your seat in the theater!
