It's 3.14...Happy National Pi Day!

It’s March 14th, 3.14. Happy National Pi Day! The holiday honoring the mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159. Pi (3.14) is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The holiday was created in 1988 by Larry Shaw, a physicist from San Francisco. To celebrate, several restaurants and stores are offering deals not only on pies, but pizza pies as well! Here are some that we found:

Boston Market – get a free chicken pot pie with any pot pie and drink order when you use the app.

Whole Foods Market – take $3.14 off any apple or cherry pie from the bakery 8 inches and larger on March 14. (Bakery half pies, frozen pies and pie slices are excluded).

7-Eleven – get a large pepperoni, extreme meat or triple cheese pizza for $3.14 (you have to sign up for the 7Rewards program or download the 7-Eleven app and limit two per customer).

Papa John’s – purchase one large pizza at regular price and get a second for $3.14.

Sbarro – get a free NY XL slice with the purchase of any beverage (you have to join Sbarro’s Slice Society rewards program to get this offer).

Uno Pizzeria & Grill – get an individual thin-crust cheese pizza for $3.14 at select locations only.
